When we turn our back on the world and walk toward our
destiny to face our pursuit, we step in an epic transition into the limitless
spiritual realm. Total reliance on God is in the spirit—When we walk in the
Spirit, our spirit is one with God, with Jesus. We have died to our self—We are
no longer walking in the ways of the world—We are walking in the Way of Jesus
in the world. We are not of this world, but in it to pursue Jesus, and in that
pursuit, we attract those who have lost hope. They long for what we have—The
Love of Jesus. They follow us to find Him, and doing so, they turn their back
on the world and face their destiny—Jesus.
What is epic? Beyond the ordinary—grand and glorious. The
epic pursuit is to respond to Jesus’ call— “Come to me.” And when we take that
first step and open our heart to Him and say, “Come to me and live in my
heart,” Jesus does not hesitate to make that epic transition in your heart— “To
love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength,
and all your mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself.” ~Luke 10:27 NLT
“Come
to me, all you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and
you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I
give you is light.” ~Matthew 11-28-30 NLT
“Come,
Lord, and abide with me. Come, and exclusively inhabit the throne of my heart;
reign there without a rival, and consecrate me entirely to Your service.”
