What does it mean to anticipate God? If we are waiting for God to show up where we would most likely find Him, He is already there. Why? Simply, in faith, we expect Him. But, what is faith? In faith, we expect God to heal a broken brain. In faith, we expect God to destroy cancer. In faith, we expect God to provide when there is no way possible in the natural. Faith is expecting God when it pleases God— and that point in time is the unexpected. That point is the unseen, the yet to come, and it is faith that bridges us from here to there. As we walk that bridge of faith, the river of our circumstances flows beneath. Surrender and let God raise you from your unexpected life situation. All it takes is your willing and obedient first step on that bridge of faith to expect God in the unexpected.
